The truth is most corporations need help attracting and retaining diverse talent. Instead, they dip into the same talent pool creating a less heterogeneous workforce. The other reality is for some organizations, diversity is not a priority.
Professionals from diverse backgrounds want to work with recruiters who genuinely understand their experiences and desires. To unpack what that means, they want to work with recruiters who will place them in workplaces where diverse people and ideas are valued. More importantly, they want to work with recruiters who can coach them through the process with honesty and transparency. We’ve indexed those desires to our success as an organization, and have prioritized them in how we communicate with clients and treat candidates, making the client-candidate experience our north star for the last 20 years.
Our central thesis is that hiring diverse talent is easy when diversity is prioritized in employer branding and recruitment outreach. That idea perfectly encapsulates “show me, don’t tell me.”
